In support of online tax file, Kansas is no longer printing massive amounts of paper forms and instruction booklets. Instead, it’s encouraging residents to utilize electronic filing for federal and state returns. For taxpayers who still may not have a computer or internet access, they can go to their local library. Interactive forms make it easy for even the first-timer to fill out and file their returns. There is no charge for this service, and taxpayers can opt to have any applicable fees deducted from their federal refund. Transmissions are secure and for filing-to-refund time is greatly reduced.
